What do agencies attract? Cottage, work from anywhere or unlimited holidays


Mediaguru.cz published an article about the new benefits offer and changes in work habits in agencies caused by the pandemic. Žaneta Lohrová Jedličková, HR director at Ogilvy, also contributed to the topic.

"We have tested that working from home is possible and that it works. But we also soon found out that it has its limits. We're built on teamwork and relationships between people, and you can't do that without at least occasional contact. We recommend being in the office at least three days a week to maintain an adequate level of contact and space for collaboration, development and brainstorming. However, we always leave it up to the individual team managers to decide on the specific ratio of office vs. home work."

In addition to the ability to work from home, she also menions other benefits such as up to 30 days of paid time off, extra days off as part of WPP's global Making Space initiative, and support for fathers and civil partners in various life situations where the law only entitles mothers and married couples to time off.
