Our work100 Thousand Invisibles – Schizophrenia Treatment ― Janssen Cilag, Lundbeck, Eli Lilly
Every 100th Czech inhabitant is schizophrenic. And most of those 100 thousand desire blending into the crowd, not drawing attention to their illness, becoming invisible to the society of others. By contrast, we zeroed in on the ill, materializing them in a novel artwork installation, pointing out the myth and prejudice cherished not only by the general public but existing also among many physicians as wide and thorough set of analyses happened to reveal. We taught people to perceive the serious illness without prejudice, communicated new treatment options, and above all gave the ill the hope for a quality life.
